10th anniversary fundraiser
We hope to create high-quality, accessible, and educational theatre for another 10 years and beyond, but we cannot do it without YOU!

For our 10th anniversary, we're asking for
100 $100 donations for a total of $10,000.

Special offer: All business that donate $100 will receive a quarter-page ad in our programs for our 2026 season and "Ragtime", as well as a shout out in our next 5 newsletters and on our social media!
These donations pay for show rights and licensing fees, paying our show production teams, teachers, and staff, building sets and costumes, renting out theater venues, providing scholarships to our Conundrum Kids programs for underprivileged youth, and so much more!

Thanks to our donors in the past 3 years, we've been able to offer:

-
11 full length musicals. Our musicals provide performance opportunities for performers with day jobs and always have affordable ticket prices and paid production teams.

-
11 Conundrum Kids Programs. Our educational summer camps and after school programs are affordable and financial assistance is available for families who qualify for Burbank Unified School District free-or-reduced lunch, foster care, or are unhoused.

-
28 Piano Nites. Our live piano karaoke events are always FREE!

-
3 Play Festivals. Our 2024+2025 New Works Festivals and our 2023 One-Act Play Festival have provided opportunities for up and coming LA playwrights, directors, and actors.

-
16 workshops. Our educational community workshops are always free or pay-what-you-can.

-
4 concerts, specials, and cabarets. We partnered with local businesses and nonprofits to host our concerts, specials, and cabarets, bringing business to our community.

Conundrum Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theatre organization that builds a collaborative, diverse community by generating opportunities for experienced performers with traditional day jobs and building skills for both youth and adults to empower them to create, produce, and perform in innovative, high-quality theatrical productions in Los Angeles County. Funding for the arts is being cut constantly and we need your help now more than ever to keep our programs afloat.

Thanks to our donors over the past 3 years, we've been able to produce:

11 fully staged musicals
We're proud to offer accessible and high-quality productions of re-imagined classics and lesser-known gems in the musical theatre cannon. From showcasing queer love in the rarely-produced "Zanna, Don't!" to celebrating diversity with our gender-blind production of "Newsies", our productions always reflect the diverse community of Los Angeles - and make it affordable for all to attend!

Our mission is to provide performance opportunities for experienced performers with traditional day jobs - we're honored to be one of the few community theatre companies in LA! With your help, we're able to pay our production teams, designers, and technicians, afford expensive show licensing fees, rent theater venues, build sets and costumes, and keep ticket prices low.
11 conundrum kids programs
Our Conundrum Kids summer camp and after school productions have provided quality theatre education to hundreds of Los Angeles children! Our students develop their confidence, collaboration, and creativity while learning on and off stage skills!

Our educational summer camps and after school programs produce full musicals that are taught by theatre professionals and are always affordable! 70% of families in Conundrum Kids receive financial aid and qualify for free-or-reduced lunch, foster care, or are unhoused. With your support, we're able to pay our dedicated staff of professionals, AND we'll be able to offer financial assistance for our fall after-school program!

28 piano nites
Our quarterly themed piano nights are FREE events where our community comes together to sing karaoke with live piano accompaniment and meet fellow musical theatre lovers! These events are the perfect place for creatives to relax, have fun, and network.

There aren't many free events in Los Angeles, so we're so happy our donors make these events possible! With your help, we're able to rent our venue for these events and keep Piano Nite FREE for all.
16 educational workshops
Our educational workshops are always free or pay-what-you-can! Taught by theatre professionals, these affordable workshops are the perfect opportunity for anyone of any level and age to try something new, brush up on a skill, and meet fellow creatives. Acting and dance classes in Los Angeles are often very expensive and require demanding time-commitments. These one-off workshops are perfect for our busy community of people with day jobs who often cannot commit to long, costly classes. Our workshops range from dance classes, audition prep, technique, technical skills, drag makeup, and so much more! With your help, we're able to pay professionals to lead these workshops.
4 special performances
Our "Wild Party: in Concert", "Into the Woods: in Concert", "Miscast Cabaret", and "Drive-In Concert for the Social Impact Center" provided more opportunities for our community to perform while supporting local businesses and non-profits!

At our drive in concert, we raised over $1,000 for the Social Impact Center at the YMCA. Our Into the Woods concert had a sold out run at Lincoln Beer Company, driving customers to a local small business!
3 play festivals
Our 2023 One-Act Play Festival, 2024 New Works Festival, and 2025 New Works Festival have provided production opportunities for up-and-coming playwrights, emerging directors, and actors with day jobs.
Our 2025 New Works Festival is producing 8 new plays written by local LA playwrights that all tackle different social justice issues present in our community. Your donation helps us support writers and directors and rent theater spaces.
Conundrum Theatre Company is a registered California 501(c)(3) non-profit, EIN #47-2424334. All donations are tax-deductible.
